Q: What do you think about the Victoria mayor and police lieutenant being indicted by the grand jury?

A: I think everyone’s apparently corrupt here. It would make me think twice about moving to Victoria.

A: A lot of people are saying it’s political for the district attorney. It’s my belief that no matter who they are, there shouldn’t be any problem indicting them like anyone else. I’ve been on a grand jury. If the evidence wasn’t there, they wouldn’t be indicted.

    i don't care who they are, or who they 'think' they are.
    if they broke the law they should be indicted.

    The indictments are not a conviction !!
    Victoria is one of the nice crossroads city to live, so as other nice place to live such asn Edna, Cuero,
    Port Lavaca, Goliad, Yoakum, Hallettsville, etc.,
    Life is good ,seems too short, We need enjoy it.

    Ure was fired by Webster, then changed employers about every year since then; and the powers that be knew that - it is possible that Ure was hired to be a scape goat but they had not counted on Aggie Tyler being such a loose cannon.
