The Victoria Country 4-H senior rifle team of Stephen Janak, Paul Hahn and James Hood advanced to state last weekend after placing second in the District 11 meet.

Janak finished second individually, while Hahn and Hodd were fourth and 10th, respectively.

The intermediate team of Aaron Portis, Ryan Hessler, Kandice Koehl and John Wilson placed second as a group. Sam Portis, Logan Rippamonti and Allan Parsons participated in the junior intermediates, while Kaitlynn Edwards, Amy Hessler and Shelbie Vanbeveren competed in the junior district.

Aaron Portis won the high-point intermediate award for District 11.
