The BizLink Professional Business Group will host its first Greater Victoria Office Olympics July 12 in the Victoria Mall.

The event will showcase four-person teams competing in Olympic-style games with office themes, such as briefcase shuffleboard, office chair sprints and pencil sharpening races, BizLink founder Chad Glines said.

“They’ll be competing for a grand prize,” Glines said. “We’ll have gold, silver and bronze medals and an awards ceremony like the Olympics.”

Sponsorships in the amounts of $100, $250 and $500 are still available.

All proceeds go to fund scholarships for Victoria College students.

Registration costs $25 per person, which includes lunch. The deadline is June 15.
