George West had an answer for most of the Rice Consolidated Raiders offense on Saturday, except for running back Zacchaeus Foster.
Foster ran for 293 yards on 21 carries and two touchdowns to lead the Raiders to a 26-13 Class 2A, Division I quarterfinal playoff at Victoria's Memorial Stadium.
The Raiders (12-0) will now face Kirbyville in the semifinals on Friday at 7:30 p.m. in Humble, while the Longhorns end the year at 11-1.
Geroge West struck first on a 1-yard run by Shannon Taylor early in the second quarter, but once Foster got cranking it would be all the Raiders would need.
Foster broke free on a 49-yard run with 47 seconds to play in the half as the Raiders cut the lead to 7-6 after a missed extra point.
Myles Dumont, who threw for 59 yards on 3 of 10 passing, connected with Marques Toliver on a 15-yard scoring strike with 8:08 left in the third quarter giving the Raiders a 12-7 lead.
George West's Colton Tindol and Dumont then traded touchdown passes to finish off the third quarter, before Foster iced the victory.
Foster got free and raced 96 yards for the final score with 5:51 to play.
