DNA analysts from Texas State University in San Marcos have finally identified the supposed mythical chupacabra of Cuero.

They took four months to analyze the DNA of the dead animal and compared it to several different species, including foxes and dogs.

The identity of the creature was revealed on Thursday during the KENS5-TV 10 p.m. newscast. The hairless, blue-skinned creature was really an old coyote, probably afflicted with an unfortunate skin disease.
