After 2 weeks without a game due to Hurricane Ike, the Calhoun Sandcrabs had a slower than usual start in tonight's homecoming game against Rockport Fulton but ended the game in a 31 - 7 win over the Pirates. The Crabs, now 3-0 for the season, played to a fan base that filled up the home side and occupied just over half of the vistor's stands overflowing to full bleachers in both end-zones. Way to go Calhoun Sandcrabs...on to C.C. Moody.

September 26, 2008 at 4:26 p.m.The reason Refugio wasn't in the high school capsules is because it is our game of the week and we had a separate story on the front page and the Web site. I will also be covering the game.
Thanks
