CONVERSE - Battling through five games, the Memorial Vipers gained a slight playoff advantage over Converse Judson on Tuesday.

Sam Alvarez slammed down 10 kills and Katie Lytle 9 leading the Lady Vipers to a 19-25, 25-23, 25-15, 21-25, 15-10 win over Judson in a District 27-5A contest.

The victory left the two teams tied for fourth place in the district with 3-3 marks, but Memorial has the head-to-head advantage.
