A female driver was injured after she clipped a traffic signal pole on the corner of Airline Road and Navarro Street about 8:30 p.m., Sunday.
The woman was turning right onto Navarro Street from Airline Road in a red Dodge Caliber. She took the turn too sharp, and the Caliber's front right wheel caught the curb of the traffic signal pole, laying the car on its side, an officer said.
The driver was taken to DeTar Hospital by ambulance with no serious injuries, an officer said.
Officers with the Victoria Police Department partially closed the intersection, blocking access to about three blocks of Airline Drive adjacent to the accident.
