What do sugar plums, candy canes, cookies and hot chocolate have in common?
This is just a taste of what you can expect at the 13th Annual Christmas in the Park on Saturday, at the Children's Park next to the old Little League fields in Riverside Park. The festivities begin at 6 p.m. and last until 9 p.m.
Children of all ages are invited to attend this annual event. Enjoy an old fashioned hay ride to the historic Hiller House (Keep Victoria Beautiful) and visit Santa and his elves.
Korczynski's Photography will be available to take your picture or you may bring your own camera.
Some of the activities the Parks and Recreation Department will offer are Sugar Plum Pull, Jenny Jump, cookie decorating, hot chocolate and more.
This year, we will have pony rides and a miniature train for younger kids to enjoy.
H-E-B Plus is sponsoring Christmas in the Park.
Gates will open shortly before 6 p.m. Parking is available by the old Little League fields. Overflow parking will be available. Staff will be onsite to assist you with your parking needs.
Join the Parks and Recreation Department for a family fun evening celebrating the Christmas season.
Doug Cochran is the Director of Parks and Recreation for the Victoria Parks and Recreation Department. Contact him at 361-485-3200 or dcochran@victoriatx.org
