    We must never forget to honor the courage of our Korean War veterans.

    Their fight was in a war the United States was not prepared to fight. The clothing and equipment was not sufficient to protect our military from the cold climate of Korean.

    Rifles would jam due to the extreme cold. Boots and clothing did not keep out the freezing cold weather. Toes and fingers often froze together. Ears fell off from the freeze. Food was often frozen and difficult to eat. Many troops actually froze to death in their foxholes.

    It was during this war, the United States came very-very close to loosing almost its entire military force when the Red Chinese Army surround it.

    God Blessed us with these dedicated warriors that sacrificed so very much for the country.
