Hey, music fans.

Tim McGraw has it all. He's incredibly talented at music, is becoming a successful actor, has a happy married life and is a good citizen.

I really don't know where to begin with McGraw. In the movies right now, he plays Sandra Bullock's husband, and next year, he's filming a movie with Gwyneth Paltrow.

He's also done a lot of humanitarian work, such as raising money for victims of Hurricane Katrina.

He's married to Faith Hill. Can't go wrong with that.

But above all, McGraw will foremost be known for his music career. He's sold more than 40 million records, won three Grammys, 14 American Country Music Awards, and he has 30 No. 1 country singles.

He has a good handful of songs I really like, such as "I like it, I Love It," "She's My Kind of Rain, "Live Like You Were Dying." and "Watch The Wind Blow By."

He sung some of his most beloved songs with his wife: "Like We Never Loved At All" and "It's Your Love," both opposites but just as emotionally compelling.

According to Esquire Magazine, McGraw said he's interested in running someday for governor of his home state, Tennessee. It could happen.

McGraw's coming to the Rio Grande Valley in March. It would be worth the 3.5-hour trip.

  • This is what Victoria needs to do to bring people into the area, but there is NO place for something like this to happen. Just the tourism dollars would be great for the local shops, restaurants, and hotels.
Too bad the new schools did not build a new stadium that could handle such events.
