Man shot and killed, body dumped Monday in Victoria

A man was found shot in the 2300 block of Hand Road on Monday morning.
A call of shots fired came in to the Victoria County Sheriff's Office about 8:20 a.m. When emergency personnel arrived, the man was found alive, but was later pronounced dead at Citizens Medical Center, said Sheriff's Capt. Herb Tucker.
Two suspects are being sought, both who fled the scene in the victim's car. The car was abandoned in the 500 block of South DeLeon Street.
A witness, who asked not to be identified, said she saw a man running from the car about 8:30 a.m. She described the man as a young, Hispanic man of medium to small build wearing a dark sweatshirt with a hood, a white T-shirt, shorts and white tennis shoes.
He ran north on South DeLeon Street and then made a right on East Church Street, she said.
"He got out, left the car, lights, everything on," she said.
She said she saw blood on the outside vehicle's driver side door.
Tucker did not give any description of either person.

I just think it's sad how the Advocate states that he was still alive. This guy's family has to read this on top of their mourning of his loss. Whatever life this man may have led, he still deserves respect from the media. BUT OH, LET'S SELL A STORY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Second, the VPD in the last 2 murder trials, the VPD has been higly praised by the DA and victim's families. You must have a axe to grind.

We all have family members that don't make the right choices, but that doesn't mean it doesn't hurt like hell when they die. This is supposed to be a time of rejoicing and happiness and then to lose a loved one??? And believe it or not, no matter what this guys background, he was still someones baby, and so someone is hurting. Please, please, get off your high horse, and just remember that someone lost a loved one today, and that those responsible have affected their families life by taking one......

It is so sad that these things happen and right at Christmas time. I wish the family time to heal and hope that they find the strenght to get thru this.
