Editor, the Advocate:

I was admitted into DeTar Hospital Navarro on Dec. 9, and I received excellent care from the staff who went above what is expected at a hospital. Everyone was so kind, caring and comforting, taking their time to answer my questions.

Three were most outstanding because of their comforting smiles, kind words and going out of their way to make me as comfortable as possible. Lance, the day nurse on 4th Floor East was a Godsend that made me feel better every way that he could. Thank you. Yolanda, the lab technician, and Evelyn, the lady who brought refreshments, made me feel better with their kindness and willingness to listen.

Three doctors who we are lucky to have here and are the best in Victoria: Drs. Henry, Llompart and White - I appreciate being a patient of yours. Thank you all; you will have a place in my heart always.
