LOUISE - Kayla Escalante and Stormy Clark combined for 34 points Saturday and the Faith Academy Lady Cougars held off the Louise Lady Hornets 51-49 in a girls basketball matchup.

Escalante paced the Lady Cougars with 18 points, while Clark added 16. Shayla Mathis chipped in 12 for the Lady Cougars (17-6) who held a 25-20 halftime lead.

Katie Brown led Louise with a game-high 27 points.
