SAN ANTONIO - Tyler Friedel hit a 3-pointer in the final minute of a tied game and the Memorial Vipers took a 36-34 District 27-5A win over San Antonio South San on Saturday.

Friedel's shot accounted for his only points of the game, but was enough to take the Vipers to 2-0 in district play and 16-5 overall.

Marcus Salazar led Memorial with 12 and Donte McGee went for 11 in the win.
