Police released the name of a 23-year-old man who was arrested Monday while hiding in his family's attic.

Aaron Aldrich was arrested on suspicion of possession of less than 1 gram of a controlled substance, a felony offense, Sgt. Sam Eyre said.

Police were called to Aldrich's family's home at 4813 Dahlia Lane Monday afternoon to to investigate a tip there was a meth lab.

No operating lab was found, Eyre said, but there were some components that could have been used for making meth.

The investigation is ongoing, he said.
