Editor, the Advocate:

I wanted to send a thank you and "God bless" to the folks at Victoria Communication Services. My husband, Sgt. JJ Houlton, is serving in Iraq with the Texas Army National Guard, but as a civilian, he works as a technician for VCS.

The owners and employees at VCS have been nothing but supportive since my husband became employed with them a year ago. They are very patriotic and love the military and what they do for America. We have been blessed first hand by VCS as they helped with a send-off party for JJ and have continually called to check on our 3-year-old, Savannah, and myself.

This Christmas they went above and beyond as they held a Christmas party for about five military families and blessed each one with gifts, words of encouragement and thanks. To see the faces of these families was amazing; one even received a washing machine!

VCS always has something going in support of the troops, and as an Army Wife, I just wanted to say thank you for your support, God bless you! We love you VCS.
