Three former Memorial High School music students are coming back to Victoria for an evening of entertainment.
Andrew Fuhrman, Tim Briones and Hilary Janysek will present Winter Recital II at 7 p.m. Thursday at Our Saviour's Lutheran Church, 4102 N. Ben Jordan St. The program for the evening will include music for flute, marimba and vibraphone composed by Bach, Handel, Honeggar and Loesser, among other composers, according to a news release from the Victoria Music Club.
The program is co-sponsored by the Victoria Music Club.
The recital is free.
The three friends, all graduates of Memorial High School, now attend three different universities as music majors and decided to perform for friends and family in Victoria, according to the news release.
Fuhrman is a senior at the Eastman School of Music in Rochester, N.Y. He is majoring in percussion performance and music education. Briones is a senior at the University of Texas at Austin. He is a music studies major with a percussion concentration. Janysek is a junior attending Texas State in San Marcos. She is a music education major with a concentration in flute.
