AUSTIN - Using a strong second half, the St. Joseph Lady Flyers cruised to a 48-25 win over Austin Hyde Park on Tuesday in a TAPPS District 3-4A basketball game.

The Lady Flyers (17-8, 3-0 in district) held a narrow 18-13 lead at the half, before shutting the Lady Panthers down and outscoring them 30-12 in the final 16 minutes.

Cassandra Schindler paced the Lady Flyers with 11 points, while Brooke Blanton hit nine, and Victoria Sanchez eight.
