CONVERSE - The Memorial Lady Vipers fell behind 33-10 at halftime and took a 57-35 District 27-5A road loss to state-ranked Converse Wagner.

Krysta Martinez hit three 3-pointers and led the Lady Vipers with 17 points, while senior Amber Flowers scored eight in the loss. Amy Torres added six for Memorial which fell to 2-3 in district play.

The Lady Vipers return to action at 7:30 p.m. on Friday against San Antonio Highlands at the Memorial senior campus gym.
