NORTH SABINE

Trout are fair to good under the birds in the middle of the lake on soft plastics and topwaters. Trout and redfish are good in the river on shad. A few flounder are being caught on the Louisiana shoreline.

SOUTH SABINE

Trout are fair to good while drifting shell and pods of shad. Bull redfish are good at the jetty on crabs and shrimp.

BOLIVAR

Redfish and sand trout are good in Rollover Pass on natural baits. Flounder are fair to good on the shorelines on jigs tipped with shrimp.

TRINITY BAY

Trout are fair to good over shell and mud. Trout are fair to good while working slicks and pods of mullet. Redfish are fair to good around the spillway and in the marsh on natural baits.

EAST GALVESTON BAY

Trout are fair to good while drifting shell in 4-6 feet of water on soft plastics. Redfish are good in the cuts and sloughs leading to the marsh. Sand trout have been taken on the edge of the Intracoastal.

WEST GALVESTON BAY

Trout are fair to good while drifting shell and mud. Waders have taken better trout in the mud in the afternoon as the water warms.

TEXAS CITY

Sand trout and croaker have been taken on fresh shrimp around the rocks and in the holes. Redfish are fair to good in Moses Lake on mullet. The dike remains closed to traffic.

FREEPORT

Sand trout are good on fresh shrimp in the channels. Bull redfish are good at the jetty on shrimp and crabs.

EAST MATAGORDA

Trout are fair to good while drifting over shell. Trout are fair to good on the south shoreline on suspending bait. Best fish have come while drifting.

MATAGORDA

Trout are fair to good while drifting mud and shell on Gulps under popping corks. Redfish are fair on the south shoreline of West Bay in the guts and cuts on Bass Assassins, Sand Eels and Trout Killers.

PORT O'CONNOR

Trout are good over shell and mud in San Antonio Bay on soft plastics and live shrimp. Redfish are good in the back lakes. Trout are good for waders working the edge of the channels on soft plastics and shrimp.

ROCKPORT

Trout are fair to good over shell and mud for waders working topwaters and soft plastics in Copano Bay and Mesquite Bay. Trout are fair to good on the edge of the channel near Super Flats on soft plastics.

PORT ARANSAS

Bull redfish are good at the jetty and on the edge of the Intracoastal on crabs, finger mullet, cut-bait and fresh table shrimp. Whiting, sand trout and sheepshead are good around the rocks and on the edge of the channel on shrimp.

CORPUS CHRISTI

Trout are fair to good in the deep holes surrounded by grass. Redfish are good on shrimp and Gulps on the edges of the spoils in the Intracoastal. Trout, redfish and sand trout are fair to good from the piers at night on live bait.

BAFFIN BAY

Trout are fair to good for waders tossing Corkies around rocks and sand flats. Trout are fair to good under lights at night in the Land Cut on live shrimp and glow plastics.

PORT MANSFIELD

Trout are good around pods of bait on soft plastics and suspending baits. Quality trout have been taken in the pot holes. Redfish are good around East Cut on mullet and other natural baits.

SOUTH PADRE

Snook and mangrove snapper are good in the Brownsville Ship Channel on shrimp, Gulps and DOA Shrimp. Redfish are good at Laguna Vista and along the refuge shoreline on soft plastics.

PORT ISABEL

Trout are good around the Gas Well Flats and along the Intracoastal on DOA Shrimp. Redfish are good at the Pasture and on the flats on live bait and gold spoons.
