SHINER - With five players scoring in double figures the Shiner St. Paul Cardinals rolled to a 74-66 win over the Faith Academy Lady Cougars on Tuesday in a TAPPS District 9-2A girls basketball game.

Abby Bohuslav led the way for the Lady Cardinals with a double-double as she knocked down 18 points and grabbed 11 rebounds despite possibly breaking her nose in the third quarter. Marissa Ynclan also added a double-double that included 12 points and 10 rebounds.

Shelby Bohuslav added 13 points to the St. Paul attack, while Allie Hoerig and Carissa Sciba each added 10.

Stormy Clark paced the Lady Cougars with 21 points, while Kayla Escalante and Emily Graff each added 16, and Shayla Mathis 11.
