Bailey

Margaret Elaine Touchton Bailey was born February 12, 1917, in Mineola, Texas, to John Leslie and Tevis McCary Touchton. She passed away December 29, 2008, in Angleton, Texas. In 1935, she moved to Brazoria County and married E.W Bailey, Jr., April 21, of that year. Mrs. Bailey was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and a sister, Lesley Touchton Doerge. She is survived by her daughter, Freda Daniel and husband Dr. Tillman M. Daniel of Bay City. There are four grand children and six great grandchildren that call her Grandmother. They are Gregory Tillman Daniel of Austin and his wife Nancy, their children Gregory Tillman Daniel. Jr., and Leslie Kay Daniel; Kirk Bailey Daniel and his wife Jeannine of Bay City, and their daughter Bailey; Brett Christopher Daniel of Sargent and his son Jacob Christopher Daniel; Lisa Daniel Frick of Montrose, Alabama and her husband Tod Emery Frick and their children Tod Mills Frick and Emery Elaine Frick. God blessed this special lady with many artistic talents. Mrs. Bailey was an accomplished china and oil painter. She loved flowers and enjoyed growing and arranging them. She was a faithful and devoted member of the Angleton First United Methodist Church and was a member of Mary Rolph Marsh Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution. The family would like to acknowledge with gratitude: Rex and Dolly Bailey and their family, and Susan and Randy Kulhanek. Pallbearers will be Greg, Gregory, Kirk, Brett, and Jacob Daniel, and Mills Frick. Honorary pallbearers will be Rex Bailey, Jr., Rex Bailey, III, Tommy Bailey, Gary Mitchell, Randy Kulhanek, Kenny Walters, and Tod Frick. Funeral services are scheduled at 11:00 A.M. Friday, January 2, 200S, with Rev. Bonnie Cowing officiating at the Palm Funeral Home in Angleton, TX. Internment will be held in the Angleton Cemetery following the service. Donations may be given to the Angleton First United Methodist Church.
