The motion to suppress statements made to investigators by defendant Steve Ramirez was denied by District Judge W.C. Kirkendall via letter late last year after an October pre-trial hearing and not during Wednesday's pre-trial hearing. This was reported incorrectly on Page A4 on Thursday, Jan. 8.

Also in Thursday's paper, the blended gas price was incorrect on Page B7. The price should have read $1.0764, which was down $0.1128.
