Editor, the Advocate:
On Dec. 26, we decided to go see a movie. There was a big crowd of people, and waiting lines were both outside and inside. We stood in both lines for quite some time. Later that night, on the way home, I stopped at Walgreens for some milk.
When I reached for my wallet, I felt that my pants pockets had a tear in it. I couldn't imagine how that had happened until later when I looked at the pants. It was obvious the pocket had been cut, probably by a razor blade while I was in one of the lines at the movies. Luckily, my wallet did not fall from my pocket, and I didn't lose it. Just be aware of your surroundings in a similar situation, and maybe even carry your wallet in your front pocket. There are some really crazy folks out there.
