From the National Weather Service:
Colder weather is coming Saturday followed by a warming trend early next week and then turning colder again late next week.
Colder weather will come to South Central Texas on Saturday with highs in the 50s to near 60 expected. North winds at 15 to 25 mph and gusty are expected Saturday.
Sunny and mild afternoons are expected Sunday through Tuesday, followed by a partly cloudy day Wednesday.
Much colder weather is forecast to come to the Hill Country and South Central Texas Wednesday night and Thursday.
As a wave of cold Arctic air comes across the region from the north scattered clouds and a slight chance of showers are expected initially with the cold front on Wednesday night. On Thursday, partly cloudy skies are expected, with highs around 40 degrees over the Hill Country to the 40s across adjacent parts of South Central Texas.
As skies begin to clear and winds diminish on Thursday night, a hard freeze is expected for South Central Texas, followed by a mostly sunny and cool day on Jan. 16.
