SPRING BRANCH - The Memorial Vipers took fourth place at the Comal Cup with a 2-1 loss to tournament host Smithson Valley on Saturday.

Austin Elsik scored Memorial's lone goal of the game in the 20th minute of the first half off an assist from Klay Pavlicek.

Memorial (1-2) plays next on Thursday at 3 p.m. against Georgetown in the Governor's Cup being played in Georgetown.
