Editor, the Advocate:

As a young adult living in Victoria, I hope that the drinking age will never be lowered. Yes, at the age of 18, you can go to jail, be sent to fight for our country and live on your own, but cannot drink alcoholic beverages.

Some say it's not fair, but do any of the other things we do as young adults have the potential to hurt others? Well, drinking and driving is one of the number one killers in America and allowing more people to be exposed to it legally will only add to that number. So, as a safety concern, I hope it will never be lowered.
