BLOOMINGTON - A bridge replacement project near Bloomington is scheduled to begin Monday.

The construction on Edna's Lane (County Road 260) at Black's Bayou is about 2.5 miles southwest of Bloomington. It will include removing the existing timber structure and replacing it with a four span concrete decked bridge.

The work is expected to be completed in approximately four months, according to the Texas Department of Transportation.

Edna's Lane will be closed during construction and will not re-open until the project is complete. Tom-Mac, Inc. of Houston was awarded the contract for this work in the amount of $665,277.01.
