Mackenzie (Max) Soliz and Bailey Koebrick dominated play at the Victoria USBC youth city bowling tournament and were among those honored Wednesday.

Soliz won the Division 2 singles event with a score of 769, led his partner Andrew Browning to the doubles trophy with a 772 individual set, and managed a 644 score in team event to win the all-events title with an outstanding 2,185 nine-game total.

Koebrick won the girls Division 2 team, Division 1 singles and Division 1 all-events with a score of 1,769.

The tournament was held at the Century Lanes and is bases on handicap and competed by divisions based on average.

Koebrick joined Christopher Burnett, Michael Nelson, Cody Beldin and Ben Speer to help the Century Longhorns win the Division 2 team title with a 3,237 score. It was the only team event in the tournament.

Geldin carved out a great 242 game and 554 scratch series to total a 799 handicap to lead the team. Speer rolled the second high score with a 676.

Soliz (772) and Browning (600) combined to win the Division 3 doubles event with a 1,372, while Amy Moore (629) and Tamarcus Bennett (666) claimed the Division 2 doubles title with a 1,295.

Along with Soliz and Koebrick, Moore also claimed a singles title, winning the Division 3 event with a 659.

All-event winners won a trophy and a $25 certificate, which accumulates in a personal scholarship account. Upon graduation from high school, the money in each individual's account will be used to defray college tuition.

Browning joined Soliz and Koebrick as all-event winners claiming the Division 2 girls title with a score of 1,907.

Century Lanes contributed $175 in scholarship certificates by placing each bowler in two brackets. Based on the individual's score in head-to-head competition in three games, the finalist in the third game won scholarship certificates. The winners included Max Soliz, Calvin Bigham, Dvon Soliz, Beldin, Browning, Moore, Speer and Rachel Wortham.
