The Victoria Cobras fell to 0-2 in the 10th annual Victoria Invitational Home School Tournament on Friday after falling to North Houston SATCH Blue 61-33.

Ethan Simcik paced the Cobras with nine points.

In other action, Austin Royal defeated SATCH Blue 62-47, HOPE Patriots beat TCA Warriors 73-35, and HCYA Warriors downed Conroe CYA 73-35 in the first round.

San Marcos Home School edged past CHSA Wolverines 50-46 and HCYA downed HOPE 74-69 in the second-round winner's bracket. San Marcos then advanced to Saturday's 7:30 championship game with a 51-47 win over Austin Royals.

TCA Warriors also downed Conroe CYA 76-65.

In the girl's division, the Victoria Cobras rolled to a 43-28 win over McAllen HOPE, while the CHSA Wolverines downed San Marcos home School 47-25 and SATCH beat CHSA 75-53. The Austin Royals downed the Victoria Cobras 59-20 and SATCH fell to CHSA 75-53.
