Brianna Shimek recorded a double-double Friday as the St. Joseph Lady Flyers cruised to a 48-9 win over Corpus Christi Incarnate Word in a TAPPS District 3-4A girls basketball game.

Shimek finished with 11 points and 12 rebounds to lead the Lady Flyers (19-9, 5-1). Spenser Stranadel added nine points.
