Victoria's Schlumberger wireline facility will continue on business as usual, said Stephen Harris, the company's public affairs manager.
In November the company closed one of its two sites, affecting the approximately 30 people who worked there.
"We had a couple of retirees and a handful of eliminations," Harris said, "but more than half were transferred out to different sites."
But business at the remaining site will remain as usual, he said.
"We have no plans for making any additional closings."

Some divisions are reducing pay for the ones they don't lay off. They make all that money during the boom and then take away from the people that made it for them.
