Granny knows best about school names

Editor, the Advocate:

I would like to vote for Ella Schorlemmer for a school name because she is a great and kind lady. My Granny told me many stories about her and the many teaching techniques she used to get children to learn, and she had so much patience with children. She read to me when I went to her house with Granny. The VISD board should also make a statue of her under a shady tree, reading a book to second grade on a nice, hot day. People with such dedication to children should have schools named after them like Mrs. Schorlemmer.
