Editor, the Advocate:

On behalf of the students and parents of Rowland Magnet School that were so fortunate to receive a bike from Texas Roadhouse's second annual Bike-A-Thon, I would like to thank Nate and Christine Werner for making these students' Christmas so joyous and blessed.

Nate and Christine, you guys are wonderful angels to our students. You are able to give to these students what normally they would only dream of receiving at Christmas.

These angels give back to the community daily. We are very fortunate to have Nate and Christine as Rowland's Partners in Education. They came and presented gifts to our PPCD and AFL classes as well. Christine kept smiling at both events and saying "This is what Christmas is all about." Again, thank you so very much Nate and Christine for always thinking of others at Christmas.

I know the students were thinking of you as they enjoyed their bikes during their holiday break.

    Nate and Christine Werner are true blessings to Texas Roadhouse. They are always giving to the local schools and are always very pleasant at the restaurant. He is the tall bald guy and she is the tall thin girl with the straight blonde hair. Next time you are at Roadhouse ask for these two and introduce yourself. Then thank them for all they do for our community and our schools!
