One man was injured after his white Chevrolet Lumina was hit from behind in the 9400 block of the Loop 463 frontage road around 8 p.m. on Friday.
He was trapped in the car following a wreck around 8 p.m. Friday.
The man was traveling east on the frontage road. The car was experiencing mechanical problems and was moving at a slow speed when a silver Ford Escape hit the car from behind, Jeff Parsons, patrolman for the Victoria Police Department, said.
The man was transported to DeTar Hospital Navarro, Tracy Fox, battalion chief for the Victoria Fire Department, said.
The 16-year-old Victoria girl driving the Escape had been distracted, Parsons said. She had some injuries but was not taken to the hospital. She was alone in her SUV.
An 18-year-old man, a passenger in the Lumina, had some injuries but was not transported, Parsons said.
The name and age of the injured driver was not available Friday night.

The photo in question has been removed. Obviously, it went with the A1 rail story on North Korea's Kim Jong Il.

Maybe one of the cars involved was actually a Daewoo, Hyundai or Kia! The VA has always paid much attention to detail.
