SAN ANTONIO - The Memorial Lady Vipers went on the road and picked up a much-needed 71-55 District 27-5A win over San Antonio East Central on Friday.

Krysta Martinez led Memorial with 20 points, Amy Torres added 17 and Kaelynn Reyes added 11 as the Lady Vipers improved to 5-4 in district play.Breanna Jones added 10 points in the win for Memorial, which hosts Corpus Christi Carroll at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday at the MHS senior campus gym.

Claudia Everett led the Lady Hornets with 23 points.
