The Victoria County Genealogical Society met on June 8, at the First Christian Church Fellowship Hall in Victoria. A program on "How To Use PERSI" was presented by Susan Kaufman, Clayton Library Center manager for genealogical research in Houston. The PERSI (Periodical Source Index) is an index for articles written in genealogical journals and publications.
The next regular meeting of the VCGS will be July 13, which will be an ice cream social event. A meal for $5 per person will be served, along with games and entertainment throughout the evening.
