Raymond Trent Peterek, 42, is charged with aggravated sexual assault and indecency with a child.
A Victoria man was charged Thursday with aggravated sexual assault and indecency with a child.
Raymond Trent Peterek, 42, is charged with sexually assaulting two girls. One girl, a close relative, was about 2 when the assault occurred, the other girl was about 14, according to court records.
The 14-year-old girl said the attacks toward her happened in 2005, according to an arrest warrant affidavit by the Victoria County Sheriff's Office.
She came forward with abuse allegations recently, which were corroborated by friends, according to the affidavit.
Investigators then spoke to the other girl, according to the affidavit. The incident was investigated when it allegedly happened in 1991, according to the affidavit, but no charges could be pressed because the girl was too young to describe what happened to her.
Peterek is being held in jail in lieu of $75,000 bail.
