The National Weather service is tracking a strong thunderstorm five miles west of Yorktown, near Nordheim, according to a NWS statement.
The storm is nearly stationary and is expected to produce small hail and winds up to 40 mph.
People in the area are asked to monitor the situation and listen for possible warnings.
