Michelle D. Chacon and Robert E. Gulash, both of Troy, Ill. were married June 13, 2009, at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Staunton, Ill. Father George Radosevich officiated the double-ring ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Michael Chacon and Marilyn Garza of Victoria. She is the granddaughter of David and Irma Hernandez, and Felix and Lupe Chacon, all of Victoria.

The groom is the son of David and Julia Gulash of Bunker Hill, Ill. He is the grandson of Gene and Lorraine Forys of Bunker Hill, Ill., and Michael and Mary Gulash of Granite City, Ill.

Heather Jansen attended as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Erika Guerra, Katelyn Gulash, Chelsie Griffiths, and Melissa Spann. Autumn Allen attended as flower girl. Ethan Allen and Jonathan Allen served as ring bearers.

Brian Gulash served as best man. Groomsmen were Mike Brown, Corey West, Guy Ament, and Matthew Chacon.

Ushers were Joseph Kramer and Eric Gulash.

A reception was held following the ceremony at Concordia Hall in Staunton, Ill. The couple will reside in Troy, Ill.

The bride is a 2002 graduate of Victoria High School and a 2005 graduate of Texas Lutheran University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology. She is employed by First National Bank in Bethalto, Ill. as an accounts representative and will pursue a degree in physical therapy.

The groom is a 2002 graduate of Bunker Hill High School and is a 5-year military Veteran. He is employed by Troy Police Department in Troy, Ill. as a police officer.
