Crime: Local shoplifters. Several people were caught on video during the past year committing thefts from local stores.

While the individual thefts are not major crimes, offenders who get away with one theft are likely to repeat the offense. These thefts add up to lost profits for our stores and higher prices for customers. The people shown either actively stole items or are believed to have worked with the thieves to help commit the crimes.

  • I like other countries remedy for thieves CUT THEIR HANDS OFF. Oh forgot this is the USA where effective punishment is considered cruel and unusual.

  • I got another idea: once they get caught, let them stand on a street corner with a sign that reads:
"I SHOPLIFTED AND MADE THE PRICES YOU PAY GO UP!"

  • I agree with N4796V, it may seem harsh to some, but stealing is mean and outright selfish to everyone that chooses to live a life with morals.

  • Put their pictures up in storefronts--you know- like the "have you seen me" posters for children who are missing, etc. etc.

  • Well, they have it in kind of an odd place, but click Photos/Video's above the photograph. This takes you to a large group of pictures. Mouse over them till you see #2,#3, etc.
