Two nights of rodeo action come to the Victoria Horseman's Club arena at Riverside Park at 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
The Lester Meier Rodeo Company, that has been putting on rodeos for more than 30 years, presents the second event in the South Texas Challenge with rodeo professionals competing for jackpot money in bucking bronco, barrel racing and bull riding competitions, team roping in addition to other events.
Tickets to the rodeo in Victoria are $10 for adults. Children under 12 are admitted free. Proceeds benefit the Horseman's Club, a nonprofit group that has been in existence for almost 60 years.
For more information on the rodeos in Victoria call 361-550-8627.
The final event in the series will be in Edna on July 31 and Aug. 1. The first was in Cuero last weekend.
