GOLIAD - Goliad County commissioners will publicly present Saturday its case against Uranium Energy Corp., and seek input on whether to sue in state court.
The county sued the company in federal court in March 2008 on allegations of groundwater contamination. A federal judge tossed out the case, citing the case belongs in state court.
Commissioners want more public input before they decide to go to trial, they say.
The public meeting is at 9:30 a.m. at the Julie Wimberly Memorial Homemaking Building, 814 Julie Wimberly Memorial Drive near the Goliad County Fairgrounds.
