Tuesdays seem to be a bad day lately.
Well hmmm, I was in half day kindergarten when JFK died, I was in my parents bedroom on there bed watching the ol black and white tv, Walter Cronkite came on with a special announcement.
I walk my little 5 year old self into the kitchen where my mom and one of her friends where drinking coffee and talking. I told them "The president is dead", they didn't believe me and told me to go back in the other room.
I woke up on a Tuesday morning to see the fiasco in Waco live , lots of flames.
I was already up on another Tuesday, drinking my coffee watching Good Morning America when Charlie Gibson says a plane has hit the World Trade Center, they had live video going, he says they don't know whether it was a accident or not.
That was settled a few minutes later, when it was still on live tv, the second plane hit......poor Charlie must have not been watching the live feed because he says "What was that?"
I knew. He said something similar when the first tower collapsed.
Got to give him credit tho, he stayed on the air for over 24 hours that day.
I saw about Ed McMahon on tv while having lunch with my parents. Farah Fawcett on MSN.com and MJ from a friend before we moved on to more important news like if my grass looks more brown.
I have a life....as soon as all the media hoopla dies down, it will be wiped from my mind.
for crying in a bucket, the man hasn't done anything noble or even had a hit since the 80's.
Where was I when MJ expired?Drinking a cold Lone Star. I did finish it!
