DeWitt tax office holding closed bid sale
CUERO - The DeWitt County Tax Office will conduct a closed bid sale July 6-10.
The sale includes one property in Yoakum with a house and two properties in Cuero, one with a small structure, according to a news release from Susie Dreyer, DeWitt County Tax Assessor-Collector.

Kansas City Southern trains on the rebuilt line between Victoria and Rosenberg will be moving more quickly beginning Monday.
Trains have been traveling at 10 mph as residents along the line adjust to having trains passing through the region again. The speed will increase to 25 mph Monday.
Except for segments where there will be speed restrictions, there will be further incremental increases in July to reach the maximum scheduled operating speed of 49 mph.
