Children's Programs during the Bach Festival:

Kid's Camp: Bach to Rock

9 a.m. to noon, June 8-12 at the Children's Discovery Museum. For children aged 3-8. Cost is $80 for museum members and $100 for non-members. For more information or to register, call 361-485-9140.

Night Out at the Children's Discovery Museum

6-9 p.m. June 11-12 at the Children's Discovery Museum. Kids get dinner and activities while parents attend concerts at the Welder center. Call 361-485-9140 for information.

New Young Artists at the Library

10:30 a.m. June 11 at the Victoria Public Library. The 2009 New Young Artists present a family program.

Family Drum Circle

1 p.m. June 13 at the Victoria Public Library. Judy and David Hillendahl lead "Drums Through the Ages."

Percussion concert featuring Thomas Burritt

Screening of film "The Silence Before Bach," a visual tribute to Bach's music spanning three centuries

David Mead returns for the 10th annual Harpsichord Happening concert

Performer's Tribute to Dottie Welton; small ensembles will perform pieces to honor Welton's dedication and enthusiasm for music and the Bach Festival

Sweet Suites: Bach and the Baroque

Musical Feast; a musical comedy written by Bach called The Coffee Cantana that tells the story of a young woman whose love of coffee almost leads to the loss of her husband.

Friday, June 12

New Young Artists concert featuring soprano Catherine Clarke and tenor Seth Lafler

Joyous Romantics; featuring works by composers Mendelssohn, Fauré and Dohnányi

Saturday, June 13

Mozart Jupiter Symphony; the big finale of the festival featuring conductor Craig Hella Johnson, concertmaster Stephen Redfield and the Victoria Bach Festival Orchestra
