Adopt-A-Pet will have an Extreme Grooming Contest Wednesday, from 1 to 3 p.m., at the Victoria Mall Center Court.
Groomers were contacted by Carol Klages and pictures have already been taken of dogs "before being groomed" and "after being groomed." The groomers have the pictures in their grooming shops and are collecting donations on their entry until Friday.
Saturday morning, donation jars and the before and after pictures will be taken to the Center Court in the Victoria Mall where people can vote on their favorite entry.
The groomer who collects the most money wins the contest and will win a trophy and have their picture on the Adopt-A-Pet Web site. The winner will be announced at 3:05 p.m.
All proceeds benefit Adopt-A-Pet.
