Campuses scheduled to open in fall of 2010
Benches were installed in the boys athletic locker room at Victoria West High School last week.

Construction continues for the three school campuses in Victoria. All schools are set to open in fall 2010.
Victoria West High School and Harold Cade Middle School
Continued roof gravel area A and B. Ninety-five percent complete.
Continued framing plaster ceilings area H and north side entry canopy.
Formed and poured additional locker benches in boys athletics in area H.
Installed split-faced masonry to stair 3 and 4.
Drywall framing clerestory walls and second-floor commons, loaded second and third floors with sheet rock, installed dens glass to stair No. 1 and 2 and walls.
Fire sprinkler mains on second floor 95 percent complete, started third floor 20 percent complete.
Installed unistrut for light fixtures and continued rough-in auditorium.
Installed third-floor ductwork area B.
Plumbing rough-in area B on first floor. Ninety-five percent complete.
Tape/float on second floor sheet rock top out, 85 percent complete.
Installed windows on south side area B.
Tape, float and paint area A and B on first floor and ceiling furr down at middle school library.
Continued installing ceramic tile in are A and B restrooms on second floor in middle school.
Started mechanical yard masonry walls in middle school.
Installed ceiling grid and light fixtures in middle school.
Cut-in reglets and control joints in library.
Started installing Avadek canopies in middle school.
Continued installing millwork in middle school.
Installed cold rolled framing to top of walls at exposed ceiling locations.
Formed and poured locker bases for P.E. lockers in middle school.
Base excavation at service yard 25 percent complete.
Victoria East High School
Began installing MEP above hard-lit ceilings in area H.
Installed sheet rock/ plaster ceilings, exterior doors in area H.
Began installing ceramic tile in area H.
Installed conduit boxes, ductwork/ HVAC equipment in area G.
Began installing plaster at entry in area F.
Began installing block fill CMU, exterior storefront doors in area E
Installed plaster soffit at clear story in Areas A, B, C, D on first, second and third floors.
Began installing masonry at stair No. 3 and 4, masonry at radius walls on first floor in Areas A, B, C, D.
Installed exterior brick wall from third floor C, D.
Installed frame/ sheath exterior walls on B side.
Began installing frame and rock elevator shaft wall, type 1 roofing in areas A, B, C, D.
