Maggie McCollough and Scott Matocha, both of Austin, were married October 17, 2009 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Victoria. Pastors Barney Matocha and Nathan Doerr officiated the double-ring ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. John McCollough of Victoria. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Doris Darby of Houston and the late Joe Darby and Mrs Eugenia Fincher of Brenham and the late Jack McCollough.

The groom is the son of Pastor Barney and Leah Matocha of Victoria. He is the grandson of Mrs. Elaine Cordes of Seguin and the late Pastor Robert Cordes and Mrs. Alma Matocha of Yoakum and the late Barney Matocha, Sr.

Hannah Holmes, best friend and college roommate of the bride, attended as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Amanda Matocha, sister of the groom, Laura McCollough, sister-in-law of the bride, Monica Matocha, sister-in-law of the groom, Julie Janecka, Adelle Rodriguez, Brittney Vier and Lindsey Wilson. Lauren Grace McCollough attended as flower girl.

Matthew Matocha, brother of the groom, served as best man. Groomsmen were Kevin McCollough, brother of the bride, Lt. Mark McCollough, brother of the bride, B.J. Allen, Brannon Beck, Jason Foley, Kyle Newman and Geoff Wheeler.

Brandon Green and Will Wheeler served as ushers. During the ceremony scriptures were read by Kirby Comstock Beck and Brandon Green.

A reception was held at the Victoria Country Club following the ceremony. After wedding travel to the Bahamas, the couple will reside in Austin.

The bride is a 2004 salutatorian graduate of Memorial High School in Victoria and a 2008 graduate of the University of Texas in Austin with a double major in Business Honors and Marketing from the Red McCombs School of Business. She is employed by Volusion, Inc. in Austin as an eCommerce consultant.

The groom is a 2003 honor graduate of Memorial High School in Victoria and a 2007 cum laude graduate of Texas Lutheran University in Seguin. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology with a Specialization in Exercise Science and is currently employed by Gold's Gym as a personal trainer. He has been accepted to attend physical therapy school in 2010 to pursue a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree.
